The last two verses of Surah Baqarah are significant not only because of their placement in the Quran, but also because of their content. These verses, 285 and 286, contain a powerful message of great importance to Muslims throughout the world. Here are the meaning of the 2 last Ayat of surah Baqarah:
Surah Baqarah Last 2 Ayats Translation in English. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 285. The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers.
Ali Quli Qarai, 2/Al-Baqarah-102: And they followed what the devils pursued during Solomon’s reign —and Solomon was not faithless but it was the devils who were faithless—teaching the people magic
Name. Why the name AL-BAQARAH? AL-BAQARAH (the Cow) has been so named from the story of the Cow occurring in this Surah (vv. 67-73). It has not, however, been used as a title to indicate the subject of the Surah. It will, therefore, be as wrong to translate the name Al-Baqarah into "The Cow" or "The Heifer" as to translate any English name, say Say not (to the Messenger Peace be upon him) Ra’ina but say Unzurna (Do make us understand) and hear. And for the disbelievers there is a painful torment. (See Verse 4:46) Pickthall. O ye who believe, say not (unto the Prophet): “Listen to us” but say “Look upon us,” and be ye listeners. For disbelievers is a painful doom.
2. Narrated to Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH): “For everything, there is a hump (pinnacle) and the hump (pinnacle) of the Qur’an. Qur’an is Surat Al-Baqarah, in it, there is an Ayat which is the master of the Ayat in the Quran; [ is] Ayat Al-Kursi. (Jamia at-Tirmidhi: 2878) 3. Buraydah(RA) Narrated:
